Lots of young adults don’t donate because they don't know which charities align with their ideals. Additionally charities use outdated methods to connect with donors, and have lost trust from people due to past scandals and controversy. The aim of __ would be to bridge this gap. Using an approach similar to Sharesies and Robinhood for investing , __ aims to make charitable donations quick and easy and transparent for everyday people.
__ will find and vet high impact charities and list them on the website/app where people can quickly read what the charity does, and donate. Similar to investing where you get returns, __ will provide updates from the charities regarding what they have managed to accomplish with the donations received, providing the users with a stronger connection to the charity they are donating to and a more positive experience as a whole. A key focus will be on repeated low sum donations, rather than one-off donations as it will increase the likelihood of individuals developing a relationship with charities they donate to, and long term donation pattern.
